Attuned recommends selecting among these initiatives to strengthen partnerships with families and the community at large.

Given high rates of anxiety about returning to school among parents and guardians, as well as the need for increased scale in providing tier 2 supports to students to support recovery, research suggests these initiatives may engage families and the community in the most opportune ways. These initiatives represent a research-informed starting point, but each will need to be contextualized to fit a school or system’s unique strengths and gaps. Attuned also recommends specific deliverables within each of these larger initiatives and sequences them in alignment to the availability of ESSER funding.
