Given high rates of unfinished learning, particularly in math and among younger students, research suggests the following initiatives may best ensure access to rigorous grade-level instruction and individualized supports. These initiatives represent a research-informed starting point, but each will need to be contextualized to fit a school or system’s unique strengths and gaps. Attuned also recommends specific deliverables within each of these larger initiatives and sequences them in alignment to the availability of ESSER funding.
